I recently came across a video that has been circulating again after the death of 'El Mencho' in February, and honestly, it gives a lot to think about. In 2012, when they arrested Ramiro Pozos González, alias 'El Molca', this guy said a line that was almost prophetic about what was going to happen to the leader of the CJNG. Handcuffed in front of federal cameras, he predicted that El Mencho would end up detained or killed. And 14 years later, exactly that happened.

What’s interesting is that 'El Molca' didn’t just throw the prediction out there. While they interrogated him, he explained the whole process of how the Milenio Cartel was fragmented and how El Mencho was consolidating his power until forming what later became the Jalisco New Generation Cartel. This guy was on the opposite faction, in La Resistencia, so he had a clear view of how everything was going to unfold.

Ramiro Pozos González was born in Guadalajara in 1970 and began in organized crime within the Milenio Cartel. He became a logistics and financial operator, with influence in Jalisco and Colima. When they captured the main leaders of Milenio, El Mencho was gradually taking strategic positions until he ended up with the structure in those regions. 'El Molca' ended up on the losing side.

In his interrogation, 'El Molca' recounted how it all started. He described the exact moment when the organization split into two camps: Los Torcidos, where El Mencho was going, and La Resistencia, where he was. He explained how the leaders reshuffled themselves and how eventually El Mencho consolidated his power. For 'El Molca', it was obvious that this would end in an endless war.

What’s curious is that in 2012, when they captured him in Zapopan, federal authorities presented him as a major blow against the remnants of the Milenio Cartel. He was said to have been given an AK-47 rifle plated in gold, supposedly a gift from one of the former cartel leaders. In his media presentation, 'El Molca' even looked like he was smiling, as if he already knew how everything was going to end.

Years later, in 2021, Ramiro Pozos González was sentenced to 28 years in prison along with three accomplices. He is currently incarcerated in Altiplano, in the State of Mexico. Meanwhile, El Mencho became the most wanted drug trafficker in Mexico and the United States, until he was finally killed off last February. 'El Molca's' prediction came true to the letter, even though he had already been in prison for years when it happened.
