I’ve always felt that being a trader is really happy—why would anyone ask this question? Because every bit of money you make comes with a weird, novel sense of “level cleared successfully,” and that’s different from other industries. Every time I make money, I feel a little happy, because today I cleared another dungeon, and I’m also grateful that I trade—it makes life more interesting.

Trading satisfies my sense of novelty, my sense of curiosity. You don’t have to look for new projects or new careers—just do this one thing well. Your bottom line is stable profits, with no ceiling.
So I think trading is great on these points: you have freedom with your time, and financially you’re freer than in many other industries. You don’t need to socialize, and you don’t need to read people’s faces. Just a computer, a phone, and an internet connection—wherever you want to go is fine.
Of course, to reach that kind of level takes a lot of effort. Who hasn’t made it through this way?
In the early years, I even lost money like a fool—losing in a way that was just embarrassing. But that’s trading. It gives you freedom, and it also gives you challenges. It makes you suffer, but it also makes you experience real happiness when you clear the dungeon.
This path isn’t easy, but if you can walk your way out of it, that kind of lifestyle—many people can’t envy. #Gate广场四月发帖挑战
