Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China: Exploring innovative businesses such as "Computing Power Banks" and "Computing Power Supermarkets," supporting small and medium-sized enterprises to deposit idle computing power resources.
ME News report: On April 2 (UTC+8), the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice on carrying out a special campaign to promote inclusive computing power and empower the development of small and medium-sized enterprises. The notice mentions innovating inclusive computing power service models.
Improve the small and medium-sized enterprise sections of China’s computing power platforms, the computing power resource docking sections of the China SME Service Network, and the national computing power internet service node sections (collectively referred to as the SME platform sections). Promote precise matching between SMEs’ needs and the supply of computing power resources, and roll out flexible payment models such as payment by “card hours,” “verification hours,” and Token-based billing.
Explore innovative businesses such as “computing power banks” and “computing power supermarkets,” support SMEs in depositing idle computing power resources, and enable flexible access and use through cross-region and cross-cycle scheduling. Implement an AI SME entrepreneurship support plan, encouraging relevant local authorities to provide subsidies such as “computing power vouchers,” “storage capacity vouchers,” and “transport capacity vouchers” to industry-oriented SMEs via the SME platform sections, simplifying the process for obtaining and using them.
