🚨 A fake Ledger Live app just wiped out a user’s entire life savings.
American musician Garrett Dutton downloaded a fake Ledger app from Apple’s Mac App Store.
He entered his 24 word seed phrase..
5.92 $BTC, roughly $424,000 at the time gone.
ZachXBT traced the stolen Bitcoin straight to exchange deposit addresses and publicly called out the breach.
The fake app had already made it past Apple’s entire review process.
