Recently, BAIC Blue Valley announced that it disclosed multiple senior management changes, attracting close attention. It is reported that in this adjustment, the company’s former Executive Vice President Song Jun was promoted, replacing Liu Guanqiao as General Manager of BAIC Blue Valley.

Public information shows that Song Jun was born in December 1976, is 50 years old, and graduated successively from Beijing Forestry University with a degree in Economics and from the Central University of Finance and Economics with a degree in Accounting, holding a master’s degree. In addition, he also holds titles such as Senior Certified Public Accountant, Senior Economist, Certified Public Accountant, and Certified Tax Agent.

Song Jun’s career has mainly focused on finance. Before joining BAIC, he worked at Beijing North Star Industrial Group for 11 years, where he served as head of the Operations Management Department.

In 2012, Song Jun joined BAIC Group, serving as head of the Finance Department of Beijing Automotive Group Co., Ltd., assistant to the director, deputy director, vice general manager, and CFO of Beijing New Energy Vehicles Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “BAIC New Energy”), and deputy manager and CFO of BAIC Blue Valley New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “BAIC Blue Valley”), continuously deepening his expertise in finance.

In March 2025, Song Jun was promoted to Executive Vice President and CFO of BAIC New Energy, and Executive Vice President and CFO of BAIC Blue Valley, further advancing his position. Now, after a year, he has been promoted again to become General Manager of BAIC Blue Valley. It is understood that Liu Guanqiao, the former General Manager of BAIC Blue Valley, has been promoted to Chairman.

According to production and sales quick report data, in the first two months of this year, BAIC Blue Valley’s total sales reached 15,437 units, a year-on-year increase of 14.81%.

Liu Qing, Director of the Automotive Department of Operator Finance Network, stated that after being promoted to General Manager, Song Jun will be responsible for the daily operations and management of BAIC Blue Valley. With his background in finance, he is expected to help optimize BAIC Blue Valley’s profit structure and accelerate the turnaround.
