Hyperliquid mainnet is now live, with a priority fee mechanism, allowing users to pay HYPE to prioritize data retrieval or order submission.
Mars Finance reports that Hyperliquid founder Jeff announced on the Discord channel that the priority fee mechanism is now live on the mainnet in Alpha mode, including Gossip priority fees (used for priority data reads) and Order priority fees (used for priority order writes). For more details, please refer to the official documentation. Additionally, based on user feedback, the cap for order priority fees has been reduced from 20 bps to 8 bps. Currently, order priority fees apply only to IOC orders on HIP-3 assets.
