Different Types of Robots Team Up for Deployment: On-the-Spot Exploration of Zhongguancun Forum — “Full Tech Feel”

● Staff Reporter Xiong Yansha, Lian Run

On March 25th, the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference opened. Chinese Securities Journal reporters visited the Zhongguancun International Innovation Center, where from robot-assisted food delivery to intelligent conference services, it was evident that this year’s conference is not only a showcase of cutting-edge technology but also highlights the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation.

Robot Restaurant Becomes a Popular Check-In Spot

“Customer number 18, please pick up your meal.” A crisp robotic voice broadcast sounded.

“Didn’t expect the cooperation efficiency of robots to be so high. It took just over 2 minutes after scanning the code to place the order, and now it’s ready for pickup.” A participant, holding a freshly received coffee, took a photo with the robot for a keepsake.

A long line formed at the entrance of the robot restaurant, making it one of the most eye-catching check-in points at the event. Chinese Securities Journal reporters observed that robots from different companies formed a “service team,” presenting a vivid scene of clear division of labor and close cooperation. Qianxun Intelligent’s robots were responsible for stringing candied hawthorn sticks, while the robots from Hulu Coffee prepared the coffee, then handed it over to the robot from Galaxy General at the counter. Finally, the robot from Leju Tongyan acted as a waiter, holding coffee and snacks in each hand to assemble a set meal for customers, often making a “heart gesture” towards the audience on the way to pick up their food.

Why can different manufacturers and different types of robots cooperate? A relevant person from Zhiyuan Research Institute told Chinese Securities Journal that the RoboBrain 2.0 embodied brain and RoboOS 2.0 collaboration platform developed by Zhiyuan Research Institute successfully break the barriers of cooperation among different manufacturers and robot types, enabling the application of robot swarm intelligence in restaurant service scenarios, creating a replicable and promotable embodied intelligent scene application paradigm.

Feeling the Warmth of Technological Innovation

Not only the robot restaurant, but “black technology” has long penetrated every detail of this year’s “tech-enabled conference,” allowing participants to unconsciously feel the warmth of technological innovation.

Outside various parallel forum venues, the “Smart Conference Service Station” built by Hanwang E-Reader can be seen everywhere. “In the past, attending a conference meant holding a thick manual to find the agenda. Now, just a tap on the e-reader screen can quickly check the schedule of each forum, including time and location, and even generate meeting minutes and mind maps directly through voice-to-text. So convenient,” said a participant while operating.

“Hanwang Technology has demonstrated the results of the company’s intelligent transformation at this year’s conference,” said Zhu Deyong, President of Hanwang Technology, in an interview with Chinese Securities Journal. “Consumers’ demand for handwriting functions continues to exist.” Hanwang Technology has been continuously advancing product iterations in conference scenarios, automotive scenarios, and more.

At the same time, a “tech landscape” at the conference also drew attention — six Hanwang wing-flapping bionic flying birds were soaring with wings outstretched. They flapped their wings naturally and smoothly, as if real birds were weaving through the spring breeze, becoming a lively scenic spot in the entire venue. “Hanwang developed wing-flapping bionic flying birds and robotic dogs, integrating visual and olfactory perception with these products to create a ‘second curve’ of business growth,” Zhu Deyong said.

Policy Signals of Support Released

Intensive signals of policy support for technological innovation have been released.

At the “High-Quality Development of the Technology Service Industry Forum” held during the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum on March 25th, Du Guangda, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stated that efforts should be made to promote the implementation of policies for the technology service industry, facilitate scale growth and quality efficiency improvement, and build a modernized technology service system characterized by strong innovation, robust entities, high quality and efficiency, and a complete ecosystem.

“Strengthen the supply and demand capabilities of technology service industry, enhance standard construction, formulate standards for service norms and capability evaluation, and promote the coordinated linkage of resources such as technology, data, capital, and talent,” Du Guangda said.

Financial “Water” is an important guarantee for sustained technological innovation. Zhao Qing, First-level Inspector of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Zhongguancun Management Committee, mentioned that Beijing will explore a model of R&D funding combined with equity investment, support the transformation of a batch of technological achievements into startups, and develop and expand strategic emerging industries such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and healthcare. It will also cultivate future industries like 6G, quantum technology, and commercial spaceflight, driving industry intelligence, greening, and integration through technological innovation.

“Actively build a more globally competitive open innovation ecosystem. Optimize financial services for science and technology, accelerate the construction of Zhongguancun Science and Technology Innovation Financial Reform Pilot Zone, and guide financial institutions to provide diverse financing methods such as venture capital and technology loans for innovative enterprises. Fully leverage the role of eight government industrial investment funds, and strengthen patience and support for early-stage projects,” Zhao Qing said.
