India's In-Hoelmuzi Strait closure request to China to relax urea export restrictions, Ministry of Foreign Affairs responds
On March 13th, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun hosted a routine press conference. A Reuters reporter asked whether, given reports that India has requested the Chinese government to relax urea export restrictions to help compensate for supply losses caused by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, China would seriously consider this request in light of the recent improvement in diplomatic relations between the two countries. “I suggest you direct this question to the relevant Chinese authorities,” Guo Jiakun said.
