Sandmark Report: 96% of professional investors are optimistic about the prospects of crypto assets
Crypto World News reports that according to Sandmark’s first “Crypto Intelligence Report,” 96% of professional investors are optimistic about the future of crypto assets, while only 39% of beginner investors share this view. Data shows that 42% of financial professionals see regulatory uncertainty as the main obstacle for institutional participation in the crypto market. Among financial professionals holding crypto assets, 38% view it as a growth opportunity with strong upside potential; overall, 25% of financial professionals see crypto assets as high-risk assets, but among those actually investing in the field, this figure drops to 10%. The report surveyed over 5,000 financial professionals and crypto investors in the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates. Regarding the influence of public figures, Elon Musk generated the strongest positive sentiment, accounting for 51%, with 77% of those positively influenced by him being highly optimistic about the prospects of crypto assets; Donald Trump triggered the highest negative sentiment, at 38%, but was also the second-largest source of positive influence, at 17%. Additionally, only 8% of respondents hold crypto assets for payment utility, and the market generally believes that broader merchant acceptance and regulatory integration are key drivers for future adoption.
