All I can say is: you’re betting that the exchange will or won’t synchronize the on-chain data.
This kind of thing has happened before:
Some exchanges pause deposits and withdrawals, wait for official fixes, and then pretend nothing happened.
Some exchanges roll back directly, turning shorts into longs.
The most savage part is: on-chain it resets to zero, but the exchange can still trade normally because they’re feeding prices from their own source.
