Techub News reports that Polkadot tweeted that the team has noticed a security issue with Hyperbridge's Ethereum gateway contract. The vulnerability only affects DOT tokens bridged to Ethereum via Hyperbridge; DOT within the Polkadot ecosystem and other bridging solutions are unaffected. Polkadot and its parachains and native DOT remain secure. Hyperbridge has been paused to investigate the issue.
