I saw a guy chatting about watches earlier, so I chimed in with a few thoughts. I'm a weird person—I don't like wearing anything restrictive or potentially burdensome on my body. Watches, rings, bracelets, pendants, none of that appeals to me. My wife bought me watches and bracelets before, but I'd put them away after wearing them for a few days because I found them too much hassle. Fortunately, I already had a mobile phone when I was in college, so I can check the time without wearing a watch.
Speaking of which, my wife is the same way. Unless it's a special occasion, she doesn't wear anything either. We're truly two birds of a feather—cut from the same cloth.
