Over the weekend, widespread decline across the board! Iranian Armed Forces: Have shifted from defense to offense, Trump team has secretly plotted "peace talks"
Nearly 110,000 traders have been liquidated.
On March 22, the cryptocurrency market plummeted across the board. As of press time, Bitcoin dropped over 3%, Ethereum nearly 4%. Additionally, HYPE fell nearly 5%, while SOL, XRP, DOGE, and others declined over 3%.
According to CoinGlass data, in the past 24 hours, nearly 110,000 traders were liquidated in the crypto market, with a total liquidation amount of $343 million.
On the news front, according to reports on the 22nd from Iran’s Islamic Republic Broadcasting and other media, the Iranian armed forces announced that Iran’s military strategy has shifted from defense to offense, with corresponding adjustments to battlefield tactics.
The report quotes Abdolahi, commander of the Central Headquarters of Iran’s armed forces, as saying that Iran’s military is leveraging the capabilities of young scientists to develop and produce advanced equipment and weapons, aiming to thoroughly disrupt enemy plans. The U.S. and Israel have already experienced part of this on the battlefield, and Iran will create more “surprises” for them.
Notably, Axios News reported on the 21st, citing anonymous sources, that the Trump administration has begun planning negotiations with Iran, conducting preliminary talks through third parties; Trump’s envoy Wittekov and son-in-law Kushner are involved.
Axios reports, citing an American official and two other informed sources, that U.S. officials believe the conflict could last another two to three weeks. Meanwhile, Trump’s advisory team is seeking to end the conflict through diplomatic means.
The U.S. demands that any agreement must include the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and Iran’s handling of high-enriched uranium, as well as long-term commitments regarding Iran’s nuclear program, ballistic missile projects, and support for regional proxies. Specific requirements include: Iran not developing missile projects or engaging in uranium enrichment for five years, ceasing use of the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear facilities, strict limits on centrifuge construction and use, reaching arms control agreements with regional countries on missile range restrictions, and not funding regional armed groups such as Hamas, Houthi rebels in Yemen, and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
The report states that the U.S. and Iran have not had direct contact recently, instead communicating through third parties like Egypt and Qatar. Egypt and Qatar have informed Israel and the U.S. that Iran’s conditions include ensuring that hostilities do not reignite and that Iran receives compensation. U.S. officials say Trump considers Iran’s compensation demands “unfeasible.”
Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi said on the 20th that U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran are illegal and unjustified acts of aggression, calling for global unity to oppose them. Several countries have begun pushing for a ceasefire, but Iran is only considering a comprehensive end to the war. Iran rejects temporary ceasefires and demands a complete end to hostilities, including guarantees that Iran will no longer be attacked and compensation for damages suffered.
Araghchi also stated that he does not believe the U.S. is prepared for negotiations.
