Iran and Russia foreign ministers talk by phone; Russia says attacking Iran's nuclear facilities is "unacceptable"

On the 23rd local time, Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a phone call to exchange views on the Middle East situation. Lavrov stated that the situation in the Middle East has significantly worsened due to the “aggressive” actions of the United States and Israel. He emphasized that attacks by the U.S. and Israel on Iran’s nuclear facilities, including the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, are unacceptable.
