Wu Shuo has learned that XRP Ledger released a vulnerability disclosure report stating that security research firm Common Prefix discovered two vulnerabilities in 2025 that could potentially affect network activity. These vulnerabilities involve the mechanism by which validation nodes process transaction sets. If validation nodes in the UNL (Unique Node List) are compromised, attackers could trigger crashes in other validation nodes by constructing malicious transaction data, thereby obstructing the network from continuing to advance. The development team stated that the related vulnerabilities have been patched in rippled version 3.0.0 and were publicly disclosed in March 2026.
