People’s Financial News, March 23 — On March 23, the Beijing Municipal Government, China Central Radio and Television Station, China Electronics Society, and the World Robot Cooperation Organization jointly announced the details of the 2026 Beijing Yizhuang Half Marathon and Humanoid Robot Half Marathon event. The 2026 Humanoid Robot Half Marathon starts at Kechuang 17th Street in Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone and ends at the South Gate of Xunfeng Garden in Nanhai Zizhu Park, passing through Tongming Lake Park, National Innovation Park, and Robot World. This year’s event introduces the “Baturu” robot challenge, featuring a track designed with multiple scenarios including “real disaster simulation + functional modules,” with 17 challenge obstacles to comprehensively test the robots’ stability and agility. As a professional platform to evaluate robots’ combat capabilities, the “Baturu” challenge will hold the main competition on April 18, with a demonstration race on April 19 alongside the half marathon event.
