Q & A Highlights
Q: Can you comment on the diverging trends for powertrain and exterior and lighting margin trends in H2? A: There was no significant deviation in profitability between H1 and H2. Both exterior and C-Power posted solid profitability. In H1, we did EUR260 million of operating margin, and in H2, EUR230 million, with slightly lower sales in H2. This is usual seasonality, and there’s no trend of reduced margins in either business. - Olivier Dabi, CFO
Q: Can you give us some indications about CapEx trends in '26? A: In '25, we reduced CapEx to 4.4% of sales. We have a capital allocation framework where CapEx is around 5%. This will be the level we will reach while still improving free cash flow. - Olivier Dabi, CFO
Q: What should we expect for organic revenue dynamics in 2026, especially in the US and India? A: For 2026, sales will be stable versus 2025. The market is projected to be stable, with the Chinese market significantly down. Growth in the US and India is expected to start impacting in 2027. The module activity will show significant growth, with projects like the robotaxi kicking in soon. - Felicie Burelle, CEO
Q: Can you provide details about the Hyundai Mobis lighting acquisition and its financial implications? A: The Hyundai Mobis lighting business has sales of over EUR1 billion, with five plants globally. It’s a profitable business, and we have the financial means to acquire it without affecting our share count. This acquisition will more than double our market share in lighting. - Felicie Burelle, CEO
Q: What were the key drivers for the notable Q4 margin performance, and how sustainable is it into 2026? A: The Q4 performance was due to volatility throughout the year and compensation negotiations with customers, which often conclude by year-end. In H2, we achieved EUR15 million more in operating margin than in H2 2024, thanks to customer discussions and cost-saving initiatives. - Felicie Burelle, CEO and Olivier Dabi, CFO
