China's First 10,000-Ton-Level Photovoltaic Hydrogen Production Project Completes First Vehicle Refueling

People’s Financial News, March 23 — According to Inner Mongolia Daily, on March 20, reporters learned from the Zhun Geer Economic Development Zone that the Ordos City Hanxia New Energy Co., Ltd., located in the Zhun Geer Economic Development Zone of Ordos City, successfully completed the first hydrogen filling task for a container in 2026. The filling volume was 423 kilograms, with a purity of 99.999% according to national standards. This marks the official entry of the country’s first 10,000-ton photovoltaic hydrogen production project into a new stage of large-scale filling and multi-scenario consumption collaboration. The project is jointly invested and built by China Three Gorges Group and Inner Mongolia Manshi Group, with a total investment of 2.35 billion yuan. It is the first approved, first started construction, and the first hydrogen-producing 10,000-ton wind and solar integrated hydrogen production demonstration project in Inner Mongolia.
