State Administration for Market Regulation: Suspension of Implementation of Standard Innovative Enterprise Evaluation and Certification Work
The State Administration for Market Regulation issued a notice on March 23rd regarding the suspension of the implementation of the evaluation and recognition of standard innovation enterprises. To further promote the reform of standardization management and effectively safeguard the main role of enterprises in standardization work, as well as reduce the impact on their independent business activities, the following work notice is issued:
Abolish the “Management Measures for Gradient Cultivation of Standard Innovation Enterprises (Trial)” (Guo Shi Jian Biao Chuang Gui [2023] No. 4).
All local market regulation departments are requested to cease activities related to the gradient cultivation of standard innovation enterprises. Enterprises that have already completed evaluations should no longer operate under the name of standard innovation enterprises from now on, and are not allowed to hang, display, or use related plaques, certificates, or other identifiers externally.
