John Deere has unveiled an expanded 8R and 8RX tractor range, featuring models up to 634 hp, designed with “Supervised Autonomy Features.” These tractors are equipped with the eAutoPowr continuously variable transmission and advanced digital architecture, making them ready for future automation components. While incorporating sophisticated assisting technologies like path planning and automatic headland turning, the machines remain operator-supervised, not driverless.
