A-shares Market Close: Shanghai Composite Index up 0.65%, ChiNext Index up 3.04%, concepts such as CPO, PCB, copper foil/laminate strengthen

On March 10th, the three major indices of A-shares all rose collectively. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index increased by 0.65%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 2.04%, and the ChiNext Index gained 3.04%. The Beijing Stock Exchange 50 Index increased by 1.94%. The combined trading volume of the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets was approximately 23.97888 billion yuan, down about 2.49657 billion yuan from the previous trading day. A total of 4,536 stocks rose, 850 stocks fell, including 71 stocks hitting the daily limit up and 7 stocks hitting the daily limit down.

In terms of sectors, industries such as CPO, PCB, copper foil/laminate, communications, semiconductors, and electronics led in gains; while sectors like oil, manganese silicon, PVC, petrochemicals, coal mining, and steel experienced the largest declines.
