Today (the 3rd), the Qiongzhou Strait is expected to experience a late peak in the return traffic of the Spring Festival travel rush, mainly consisting of tourism return trips and short-distance family visits. According to the Maritime Safety Administration of the Ministry of Transport, the transportation pressure on the Qiongzhou Strait will continue today, with an estimated 16,000 vehicles entering the island from Zhanjiang, Guangdong, and about 15,000 vehicles leaving the island towards Hainan.
