Most domestic commodity futures closed higher, with caustic soda, pure benzene, and styrene hitting the daily limit up. Ethylene glycol and PVC rose over 5%, LU fuel oil, p-xylene, rubber, and polypropylene increased over 4%, while glass, asphalt, and short fiber rose over 3%. On the downside, container shipping on the Europe route, polysilicon, fell over 4%, and apples declined over 2%.
