90% of the world's top journals, open-source code, and capital flows use English as the default interface. This isn't about language superiority; it's an objective reality of network topology: English nodes connect to the most supernodes.
If you don't master English, you'll only be able to read cached data and won't be able to directly connect to the mainnet.
Don't ask whether English is important; ask yourself if you want to access the real information backbone network.
