QUALCOMM Back in the Untethered Trailer Tracking Business
QUALCOMM Inc. has commercially released its T2 Untethered TrailerTRACS Asset Management Solution, re-entering the untethered trailer tracking market after a three-year hiatus. The new system uses digital cellular as its primary communication mode, with analog cellular as a backup, and has been committed for installation on 48,000 trailers by Schneider National. This advanced satellite/cellular system provides rapid-status visibility into trailer locations, operational events, and vehicle position reporting for improved fleet utilization and security.
