Berkshire Hathaway disclosed its earnings on Saturday night. In 2025, Berkshire’s per-share market value increased by 10.9%, while the S&P 500 index grew by 17.9 percentage points. Over the long term, from 1965 to 2025, Berkshire’s compound annual growth rate of per-share market value was 19.7%, significantly surpassing the S&P 500’s 10.5%. From 1964 to 2025, Berkshire’s market value growth rate was an astonishing 6,099,294%, or 60,992 times, while the S&P 500 increased by 46,061%, or 460 times.
