Bloomberg News, February 26 — Recently, the Shanxi Regulatory Bureau of the China Securities Regulatory Commission issued an administrative regulatory decision, targeting Li Peipei, the head of the Shanxi branch of Guotou Futures Co., Ltd.

The decision states that during her tenure as head of the Shanxi branch of Guotou Futures Co., Ltd., Li Peipei engaged in the following violations: First, facilitating clients in borrowing others’ futures accounts to conduct futures trading; second, guiding clients to select higher-rated options during suitability assessments, failing to provide services to clients with caution and diligence. These actions violate the “Measures for the Administration of Futures Practitioners.”

In response, the Shanxi Regulatory Bureau of the China Securities Regulatory Commission has decided to issue a warning letter to Li Peipei and record her in the integrity archive of the securities and futures market.
