A potentially hacker-operated wallet linked to previous security breaches recently executed a significant trade in the crypto market. According to data reported by Onchain Lens, the wallet exchanged 3,003 Ethereum for 87 Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), a move that mobilized approximately $5.89 million in value.

The operation was executed at a price of $67,700 per WBTC, after which the assets were transferred to a different wallet. This type of hacker activity highlights the ongoing capital flows occurring in the cryptocurrency space, especially when it involves entities associated with past security events.

What’s relevant here is the strategic conversion of Ethereum into wrapped Bitcoin. The move underscores market preferences and position shifts among high-profile wallets, drawing attention to how major players monitor the crypto landscape and adjust their holdings in response to market conditions.
