Abstract generation in progress

Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov pointed out serious obstacles in implementing the natural resources agreement signed between the US and Ukraine in 2025. According to Jin10, the politician emphasized that the main issue is the lack of funding for the practical development and processing of these resources.

Scale of Financial Needs

Azarov highlighted that full realization of any benefits from the agreement requires billion-dollar investments. In his opinion, the amount needed for extracting and enriching natural resources significantly exceeds Washington’s current financial capabilities. This casts doubt on the practical fulfillment of the treaty’s conditions in the near future.

The Prime Minister on the Real Challenges of the Agreement

The former Ukrainian economy minister’s position reveals deeper problems in the bilateral agreement. Extracting and processing natural resources requires not only technical solutions but also serious capital expenditures, which remain unresolved in negotiations between the US and Ukraine at this time.
