According to Wu Shuo, based on Christine Kim's summary, in the latest Ethereum All Core Developers Testing (ACDE #231) meeting, developers discussed the main features of the execution layer (EL) upgrade for Hegota. Currently, the main candidates include solutions such as FRAME (EIP-8141), LUCID, and SSZ. Since the community has not yet reached a consensus, developers do not rule out the possibility that Hegota will only include core features of the consensus layer (CL) without primary features for the EL. During the meeting, multiple client teams expressed differing opinions on various proposals and decided to hold a dedicated discussion on FRAME. The final decision will be postponed to the ACDE meeting two weeks later.
