Afghan government spokesperson Mujahid held a press conference on the 27th regarding the conflict between Afghanistan and Pakistan. He stated that Afghanistan has always坚持 peaceful solutions and advocates responding to the current situation through non-violent means. Mujahid said, “We have consistently emphasized peaceful resolution and continue to call for constructive and non-violent approaches to address this situation.” He mentioned that Pakistani reconnaissance aircraft are still operating in Afghan airspace and stated that Afghan forces are fully capable of taking decisive action in response. “On the 27th, we targeted key military objectives inside Pakistan, and the scope of the strikes went far beyond the border.” The tense situation between Afghanistan and Pakistan has raised concerns from multiple countries. Qatar has proposed mediating the conflict, and countries like Saudi Arabia and Iran have also shown a positive stance in promoting the easing of regional tensions. (Xinhua)
