This move aligns with the digital asset regulatory framework currently being developed in the UK. Tim Miller, Director of Research and Policy Implementation at the Gambling Commission, revealed in a speech on Thursday that as the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is expected to establish regulations for crypto activities by 2026, gambling companies may become one of the entities applying for crypto licenses under the new regulatory system.
