The annual “Overpayment Refunds and Underpayment Supplements” has begun! The tax reconciliation and settlement for 2025 personal income tax will be from March 1 to June 30, 2026.

Cyber police remind you that all tax refund transactions should be processed through the official Personal Income Tax app. Do not click on unfamiliar links. Be alert to scams such as “代理操作多退税” (proxy operation for overpayment refunds), “manual tax refund green channel,” “tax inspection requiring transfers,” and “induced false reporting.” Do not disclose your account passwords or other sensitive information. The tax authorities will not request information or transfers via SMS or social media. Stay vigilant to avoid scams.
