The Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council announces that, in order to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of China and Canada, and in accordance with the Customs Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Customs Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Foreign Trade Law of the People’s Republic of China, and other laws, regulations, and basic principles of international law, from March 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026, the additional tariffs specified in the “Announcement of the Customs Tariff Commission on Imposing Additional Tariffs on Certain Imported Goods Originating from Canada” (Tariff Commission Announcement No. 2025-3) will be adjusted. The additional tariffs on oilcake, peas from Canada will not be imposed, and the 25% additional tariff on lobsters and crabs from Canada will also not be imposed.
