According to Guizhou Daily, on February 11th, Guizhou Provincial Party Secretary Xu Lin and Provincial Governor Li Bingjun met with Zhao Dong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and General Manager of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec Group), in Guiyang. Xu Lin and Li Bingjun expressed their welcome to Zhao Dong and his delegation on behalf of the provincial party committee and government, and thanked Sinopec Group for its support of Guizhou’s development. They stated that they hope Sinopec Group will increase its investment in Guizhou, deepen cooperation in resource exploration and development, modern chemical industries, and energy supply, and achieve mutual benefits and win-win results. Zhao Dong said that Sinopec Group will actively fulfill its responsibilities as a central enterprise, leverage its strengths, proactively align with Guizhou’s development needs, expand new projects while accelerating existing ones, and contribute to Guizhou’s high-quality development.
