It’s the turn of commercial space to surge!

Today (February 26), the commercial space sector experienced an explosion, with market rotation accelerating. Springhill Intelligent Control hit the daily limit up by 20% in the afternoon, while stocks like Ouke Yi, Electric Power Blue Sky, Maxin Lin, and others surged collectively. The entire sector temporarily saw 20 stocks hitting the daily limit or gaining over 10%.

A securities analyst stated that the commercial space sector remains a main market theme. Recently, four major drivers have emerged: first, coordinated efforts between central and local governments, continuously releasing dividends; second, simultaneous breakthroughs in financing and IPOs; third, the start of high-frequency launches; and fourth, technological breakthroughs ushering in the era of large transportation capacity.

Four Major Benefits Driving Commercial Space

Today, commercial space became the market’s focus. Although the overall sector index only rose about 1.2%, individual stocks showed very strong profit-making effects, with up to 20 stocks hitting the daily limit or gaining over 10%. Leading gains included Feiwo Technology, Yunnan Germanium, Aerospace Power, Electric Power Blue Sky, and Sruixin Materials.

A comment attributed to Wang Zijing of Dongwu Securities stated that the resurgence of the commercial space sector is mainly driven by four major benefits:

First, policy catalysis: coordinated efforts between central and local governments, with dividends continuously released. As of February 23, over 20 provinces across the country have held local two sessions, with most explicitly mentioning the development of the commercial space industry. The national two sessions are set to open in early March, and commercial space is expected to remain a key deployment focus this year.

Second, capital surges: simultaneous breakthroughs in financing and IPOs, with broad valuation re-evaluation space. Capital recognition of the commercial space track continues to rise. On February 9, 2026, GalaxySpace successfully completed a 5.037 billion yuan D++ round of financing, setting a new record for the largest private rocket financing in China. Additionally, China Academy of Space Technology has passed the listing guidance acceptance in February, preparing for IPO on the STAR Market.

Third, post-Chinese New Year activity: industry enthusiasm remains high, with the start of high-frequency launches. The second phase of the Hainan commercial space launch site has completed its main structure, with launch pads 3 and 4 expected to be operational by the end of the year, with an annual launch capacity of 60. Future plans include Blue Sky Aerospace executing its first orbital flight of the “Nebula One” carrier rocket after the holiday, simultaneously validating rocket orbital insertion and high-altitude vertical recovery of the first stage. Overseas, on February 20 Beijing time, SpaceX completed its 20th launch of 2026, using 27 Falcon 9 rockets to deploy 29 Starlink satellites into orbit.

Fourth, technological breakthroughs: dense launches of recoverable rockets, ushering in the era of large transportation capacity. In March, domestic commercial space launches will peak, with multiple recoverable rockets such as Zhuque III, Tianlong III, Long March 10B, Hyperbola III, Zhishen Star I, Gravity II, and Long March 12B scheduled for launch.

Impact of Accelerating Rotation

Notably, since the beginning of the year, market rotation has been speeding up. On the first day, robots surged then retreated, with dividends and cycles taking the lead; on the second day, dividends and cycles surged then retreated, with some movement in new energy and commercial space stocks in the afternoon; on the third day, the commercial space sector collectively exploded, while dividends and cycles significantly declined, with some star stocks experiencing sharp drops.

Analysts believe that such rapid rotation likely affects most investors’ profit-making ability and may foreshadow future market volatility. Essentially, the acceleration of rotation reflects a decrease in risk appetite among major funds.

From an external perspective, investors may still be worried that issues in the U.S. stock market could trigger a collapse in other markets. Although the U.S. market has rebounded for two consecutive trading days, stability is not yet confirmed. On one hand, Nvidia’s post-earnings surge and retreat affected sentiment; on the other hand, the U.S. leveraged loan index diverges significantly from stock trends, with the former declining over the past two days. Recently, U.S. stocks have lagged behind Asia-Pacific and European markets, reflecting some underlying issues.

JPMorgan senior analyst Jerry Chen told Securities Times that Nvidia’s strong earnings and guidance may temporarily ease concerns about an AI bubble, but the impact of AI on related industries (especially software) will take time to repair. If the tech sector, which accounts for over 30% of the S&P 500, cannot regain strength, the overall market will struggle to advance and catch up with Asia-Pacific and European markets.

However, Founder Securities believes that the risk of a tech stock bubble in 2026 is relatively low. Despite high AI investment intensity, primary market financing remains restrained, and the financial environment is nearing the end of a rate-cut cycle. The U.S. economy is likely to stabilize and rebound.
