Last night, the overall market plunged, with NVIDIA leading the tech sector’s sharp decline, which was quite disappointing. However, upon reflection, given the typical behavior of the major A-shares, a decline in the global markets usually only affects the opening.
Yesterday, Dongshan Precision, which hit the limit-up but then broke the limit, opened low during the bidding. Since most stocks also opened lower, the decline in global markets was expected. It surged after the open, then exited with a profit reduction.
Today, the strongest opening sectors are related to applications, software, cloud services, and computing power leasing. The news was that last night, our computing power calls exceeded those in the US for the first time, along with some cloud service price hikes. I selected stocks like Tuowei Information, Xinjun Network, Jida Zhengyuan, Jiukui Software, and UF Software. Tuowei Information and Xinjun Network hit the limit-up, but due to insufficient volume, I didn’t chase. Soon after, application stocks weakened while minor metals strengthened.
I chose Dongfang Zirconium, China Rare Earth, and Xiamen Tungsten. Most of these stocks are in a three-day two-limit-up pattern or hitting new highs. Dongfang Zirconium then surged to the limit again, so I went all-in on Dongfang Zirconium.
Overall, the market is experiencing frantic rotation today. After that, there was rotation into applications and power sectors. Fortunately, the trading volume today supported these sector rotations, so it was somewhat acceptable.
Have a great weekend, see you next week!
