LPG product volume has increased for four consecutive weeks, with the national sales and production rate growing month-on-month

Latest data shows that as of the week ending February 12, there are 262 liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production companies nationwide, with a total product volume of approximately 566,500 tons, a week-on-week increase of 3.36%. During the week, one local refinery in East China resumed shipments, and a facility in Shandong restored operations, leading to increased domestic supply. Next week, some refineries in South China will reduce exports, and domestic LPG product volume may decline. Data for the same period indicates that the production and sales rate of sampled LPG enterprises in China is 103%, a 3% increase week-on-week. This week, the overall domestic LPG market saw higher sales than production, with upstream discounts clearing inventory, and downstream replenishment demand actively entering the market. Regionally, the South China market continues to perform well, with some shipments diverted, and upstream inventory clearance proceeding smoothly, with a production and sales rate as high as 107%. In Central China, prices have decreased to clear inventory, and the production and sales rate increased by 10 percentage points to 105%.
