Dominion Energy crews are working to restore power to Charleston residents after gusty winds caused “scattered outages” on Sunday afternoon. Around 800 residents in West Ashley and another 1,000 customers on James Island were affected, with crews on site in West Ashley to address the issue. The outages are concentrated off Savannah Highway and in the Westchester area.
