Vitalik: Entrepreneurs should understand gaming and social media better than blockchain
On January 23, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin, in a Chinese AMA hosted jointly by Wu Shuo and Mask Network, was interviewed by Wu Shuo Editor-in-Chief Colin Wu. He stated that many decentralized social products and blockchain games fail not because of technical issues, but because project teams design applications from a crypto-financial perspective rather than focusing on the product itself. He believes that, compared to understanding blockchain, truly understanding user needs in gaming and social media is even more important. In fact, even if someone understands social media but not blockchain, they might have an advantage over those who only understand blockchain but not social media.
