Lawmakers are pushing through a bill this week that would prohibit members of Congress from trading individual stocks. The measure aims to reduce conflicts of interest and curb insider trading concerns. If passed, it could reshape how political figures engage with financial markets—something worth watching if you're thinking about policy impacts on asset prices.

Haha, laughing to death. Members of Congress can no longer trade stocks? Let's see who can still get rich quick with insider information.

Ban stock trading in Congress? Forget it, it's better to directly modify the gas fee rate model. If these people really want to fight corruption, they should first make on-chain transactions transparent. This bill is just a superficial fix; data shows that after each "ban" is implemented, arbitrage opportunities actually expand.

ngl this feels like theater tbh... they'll just move money through spouses' accounts lol. classic loophole energy. been analyzing these "reform" bills for years—pattern's always the same. needs way more teeth than what's probably gonna pass. DYOR but red flags all over this one fr fr

If this bill really passes... those politicians will have to behave honestly, but I bet five bucks it won't push through at all.

ngl, they're pushing this bill through without even auditing the enforcement mechanisms... insufficient validation on how they'd actually catch violations, technically speaking. the whole thing feels like security theater — requires further auditing before i'd trust it actually changes anything.

Another ban on stock trading? Wake up, these people have already pulled out the money, and now they're just pretending to be honest.
