After spending a long time in the crypto world, I’ve gradually come to see a harsh reality: most people lose money not because they lack knowledge, but because they are emotionally hijacked.

Every time the market fluctuates, my mind starts to battle itself. "If I don’t enter now, I’ll miss out!" and "If I don’t follow this wave, all my previous efforts will be wasted!" These two voices take turns bombarding me. And what’s the result? When the market rises, I can’t think straight, so I go all in; when it drops, I get scared to death and cut my losses. People like this, nine out of ten times, become market "food."

Those who truly stand firm in the crypto space are not necessarily masters of technical analysis or indicator usage. Their superpower is simple — they can suppress impulsiveness and keep a steady mindset.

These people share a common trait: they have a clear plan before entering the market. They know where to buy, where to sell, and what their loss threshold is — everything is in their mind. When the market actually moves, no matter how volatile or turbulent it gets, they follow their rhythm and are not swayed by the emotion of "fear of missing out."

In plain terms, those who can get through the "emotional hurdles" are usually people who have been through several tough lessons. No so-called "veterans" are untouched by market sweeps. It’s these painful lessons that gradually shape their mindset.

Skills can be learned, indicators can be copied, but this mindset? It’s something that must be honed through repeated experience in the market.

Now I’ve identified a few key opportunity points, waiting for the market to give clear signals. Once the timing is right, I will act decisively to seize the moment and aim for gains in this wave.

Really, emotions are much harder to overcome than technology. I only realized this after being exploited.

Went all in, cut losses, and now I finally understand... That really hits home.

It's true, but in practice, who hasn't been overwhelmed by emotions... It's easy to say.

That really hits home... I'm the kind of person whose mind fights itself. Every time I miss out, I chase the high; when I chase the high, I cut my losses. It's a cycle of being a leek😅.

That's right, mindset is the true risk control. I only realized this after experiencing several rounds of sharp declines. Thinking back on those days of being liquidated, I still feel scared. Now, before each operation, I ask myself if I can accept the worst outcome; if not, I will never act impulsively.
