Traditional finance, to truly enter the blockchain space, I think the core sticking points are two words: privacy and compliance. These two hurdles are right there, and most projects either try to go around them or grit their teeth and push through. But seeing a team actually decide to tackle both and pave the way with zero-knowledge proofs, honestly, that’s a pretty bold approach.

They proposed this thing called confidential securities contracts, and I’ve thought about it a bit—there’s some really interesting logic behind it. Imagine a company issuing stock incentives to employees. The traditional way relies on lawyers and trust systems, which are lengthy and costly. But what if this could be on-chain? The contract executes automatically, ownership rights are clear, but the key is—competitors, suppliers, and others who are eyeing your shares can’t see your distribution plan or shareholding details. Privacy protection is in place, and compliance is guaranteed by the blockchain’s immutable nature.

This is quite intriguing. From recruitment incentives and employee retention to secondary market liquidity, new possibilities emerge. Of course, this path still needs to be traveled, and the real test is whether this system can be made simple and user-friendly enough for finance departments that don’t understand cryptography to use. But just daring to think this way already puts it ahead of most projects.

Zero-knowledge proofs for equity incentives—this idea is truly brilliant. Privacy + compliance handled together; how come other projects haven't thought of this?

Zero-knowledge proofs are truly impressive; it's rare to see an approach that balances both privacy and compliance so well.

Zero-knowledge proofs are indeed powerful. Can privacy and compliance really be achieved together?
