Industry tailwinds matter more than personal brilliance—that's the real secret nobody wants to hear. Charlie Munger nailed it: an average operator riding a strong industry wave will consistently outperform a genius stuck in a dying sector. Think about it. You could be the smartest trader in the room, but if you're fighting against market headwinds, burning energy on a contrarian thesis that takes five years to play out, you'll get exhausted before the payoff. Meanwhile, someone with half your IQ catches the right trend at the right time and makes multiples. The lesson? Pick your battles wisely. Whether it's selecting which blockchain to build on, which market cycle to deploy capital, or which sector has real tailwinds—timing and positioning beat raw talent more often than we'd like to admit. The market doesn't reward effort; it rewards alignment with prevailing forces.

Damn, choosing the right track is really more important than working hard. My years of blood, sweat, and tears have taught me that. Even the messes in a bullish market can make money, but in a bearish market, no matter how talented you are, it's useless... Painful. Genius is no match for the trend, that hits hard. Don't go against the overall trend; exhausting yourself isn't worth it. Positioning > Technology, got it.

You're not wrong. Over the past few years, I've seen too many smart people struggle in dead sectors, only to be beaten by amateurs riding the wave... Choosing the right track is really more important than anything else.

Honestly, being smart is useless; riding the wave is the real key. Five years of contrarian trading still results in losses. It's better to just go all-in on a hot spot and double your money... Haha. Choosing the right track is a hundred times more important than choosing the right strategy. That's why some people make money while others don't. The chosen ones by fate vs. those chosen by the times—guess who wins? After all these years, I finally realize that effort really can't beat luck.

Basically, it's about betting on the right track and focusing on technical skills... I damn well spent five years going against the trend and literally messed up my brain.
