Recently, I noticed two projects making moves in community building that are worth discussing. Wallchain and Warden Protocol have been working on their points and reputation systems recently, and there are clear signs of improvement in both content quality and participation thresholds. A recent topic initiated by Wallchain was quite interesting — asking everyone where their real audiences are distributed. They used data analytics tools to show user distribution across different regions, which is actually an exploration of how to better incentivize user attention contribution. These kinds of initiatives indicate that the project teams are thinking about how to build a more sticky community ecosystem through transparent data and optimized participation mechanisms.
