Since then, it has pulled back roughly 8% from the highs and is following the same corrective trajectory. The volume divergence that showed up around $1.80–$1.82 is still intact and clearly explains why price failed to gain acceptance above that zone.
From here, everything hinges on the $1.66–$1.70 region. Holding and accepting above this range would keep the structure constructive and allow for continuation to the upside. Losing that support, however, would invalidate the bullish case and shift the bias back toward distribution.
