I've always had a pretty simple idea: decentralization is for survival, and conviction is for making money. When your judgment is wrong, your position structure can save you; when your judgment is right, whether you dare to go all in determines how far you can go. That's also why I've been paying close attention to @intodotspace recently. It is essentially a leverage prediction market on Solana, but the design isn't meant for you to go all in.
