There is an old saying in the crypto world: those who have lost money have the most say. I am exactly that kind of person who has been repeatedly educated by the market—after being liquidated 7 times in a row and my account shrinking to just 1,800 USD, most friends around me advised me to give up. But I just couldn't accept it and wanted to see if I could climb out of this deep hole.

And what happened? Using a set of "Rolling Positions + Position Control" methods, I managed to grow my account to 100,000 USD in just 3 months. Many people hear the words "rolling positions" and reflexively think it's gambling behavior, but they completely misunderstand. The essence of rolling positions is not about leverage and all-in bets; quite the opposite, its core is strict management of positions.

Let me explain how this approach is actually implemented.

**Phase 1: Testing Without Heavy Pressure**

With an account of 1,800 USD, only use 540 USD as a trial position. This ratio is crucial—never go all-in right from the start. If your market judgment is correct, gradually increase to 20% of your total capital, but never go all-in at once. Keep the entire process within 2x leverage, and set a 9% floating profit target for each position—take profit immediately when reached. Better to earn a little less than to risk everything. The goal is to ensure each trade has a stable return.

**Phase 2: Using Profits to Generate More Profits**

Within a profit range of 7% to 10%, first realize part of the gains, then use the earned money to add positions without touching the principal. What's the benefit of this? The principal remains relatively safe at all times, while the funds used to add positions are "free money." Like a snowball rolling downhill, it starts slow but accelerates as profits accumulate.

When choosing coins, I mainly focus on mainstream tokens like UNI, SOL, and avoid those with too much uncertainty. Mainstream coins have good liquidity, easier technical analysis, and are less likely to experience sudden crashes or dumps.

**Phase 3: Doubling and Then Cash Out**

Once the account doubles, immediately withdraw 50% of the profits to your wallet or fiat account. The remaining 50% continues to roll in the account. This way, even if the market turns unfavorable later, you've already locked in solid gains, and your principal is essentially in a "zero risk" state.

Some people say I earn too slowly at this pace, but think about it: when their accounts get liquidated, I’ve already withdrawn my previous profits. That’s true risk management.

**Why This Method Can Survive**

There are no shortages of opportunities in the crypto space; new market opportunities come one after another. What’s missing? It’s real discipline in position control and execution. Most losers’ problems are—they get overly excited at a market surge, set greedy take-profit points, and are reluctant to cut losses, ending up being shaken out repeatedly.

The core of my logic is simple: every trade has a clear exit point. Don’t add to positions just because prices go up, and don’t stubbornly hold when losing. The 7 liquidation lessons taught me the most valuable lesson: only by staying alive can you make money; only by surviving longer can you make big money.

The crypto market has always been a survival of the fittest. Those who can stay alive and make money are never geniuses—they are people who dare to seize opportunities but also know when to take profits. If you’re still stuck in a cycle of repeated losses, instead of stubbornly holding on, try a different approach with disciplined trading. Maybe this one shift will turn your despair into hope.

ngl, the "discipline trading" narrative hits different when you're already down 1800U on network fees alone lol

To be honest, when I saw the number jump from 1800U to 100,000, my first reaction was that it was bragging, but upon closer inspection, the logic isn't entirely wrong. The key is that we really need to stop the illusion of getting rich overnight. The crypto world is constantly brainwashing people into thinking that just going all-in will work, but in the end, everyone gets burned. I agree with this guy's logic about withdrawing profits; locking in gains is more important than anything else, otherwise the money earned is just a number on the ledger.

Can’t believe you can turn things around after 7 liquidations, I really can't hold on anymore.

1800 to 100,000, it sounds easy to say but can you really stick to it? I doubt it. 2 What are you talking about, just take profit at 9% and run? I already changed it to 8%, greed really kills people. 3 The logic of rolling positions sounds comfortable, but what about when the market is bad? The principal will also shrink. 4 Seven margin calls without running away, his psychological quality is truly exceptional. 5 Tired of UNI, SOL, now everyone is looking for the next opportunity. Feels like a crash is imminent. 6 The key is self-discipline. Most people can't stick to the plan of taking profit immediately after setting it, and a twitch of the hand leads to changing the plan. 7 Double your investment and withdraw 50%, I need to remember this trick to prevent future losses. 8 It's really just about staying calm when making some profit; those who lose have long lost their composure, which is the hardest part. 9 Not everyone can climb back from 1800; if you can write it out, it means you've already made it. Without some luck, it's impossible. 10 After reading so many stories of turning around in the crypto world, most end up back at the starting point. Be cautious.

Really, disciplined trading is the way to go. Those who go all-in have long been gone.

Basically, being alive is more important than anything else. I was also the kind of person who was repeatedly educated that way back then.
