Recently, a certain project's incentive activity has attracted quite a bit of criticism. The booster plan launched at 6:00 PM on January 12 occupies 3% of the total supply, of which 1.4% will be gradually released through a lock-up mechanism. There will also be a TGE phase later, accounting for 1%, but the specific timing has not been determined yet.

Here's the problem—participants have discovered that all booster participants will have their points deducted. Since the value of such airdrop activities isn't very high to begin with, this point deduction has left everyone a bit confused. The most heartbreaking part is that many people barely recover their points by completing tasks and participating in blacklisted projects; now with this deduction, their previous efforts seem to have been in vain.

There's also a more immediate concern: if you participate in the lottery and your points are deducted to zero, but you don't win, that's really a big loss. Many people are complaining that this design is quite tricky, and the balance between incentive mechanisms and punishment mechanisms is clearly not well managed.

It's the same old scam to cut the leeks, deduct points and still call it an incentive, hilarious. I'm speechless, I spent so many task points for nothing? This is outrageous, can't win the draw and still get points deducted, did the designer's brain get water in it? Why is it always like this? The promised benefits turn sour as soon as they are received. Points are deducted, and there's no airdrop either, this is more heartbreaking than losing money.

Laughing to death, this is just an upgraded version of traditional money-grabbing schemes. Wait, you can participate in a lottery by deducting points? Then wouldn't I be losing twice? I should have seen through these project teams' tricks long ago.

Deductions of points are really incredible; after working hard to accumulate for a month, it all gets wiped out. Speaking of brothers who participated but didn't win the draw, they might be crying their eyes out—this mechanism is truly outrageous. The lack of a specific TGE date is also quite mysterious; it seems the project team hasn't even figured it out themselves. These kinds of activities are a tug-of-war from the start—wanting to attract people but also afraid of giving too much, and in the end, no one is satisfied. The point deduction gameplay needs to be changed; otherwise, it's better to just do an airdrop. Why does it feel like projects are increasingly fond of this Schrödinger's cat-style incentive? In the end, only the participants lose. I've long said that this combination of lock-up and point deduction will only make people regret—everyone, be more cautious.

This design is really outrageous, a waste of effort and even backfiring. What were they thinking?

Deduct points? I've seen this trick too many times, it's just another "羊毛党陷阱" scheme. Those blacklist projects I played before are now just a waste, and now they're even deducting points... No matter how you look at it, this deal isn't worth it.

Deduct points? Isn't that just a disguised way of scamming people? Airdrops are already not that meaningful, and doing this makes it even less interesting. Participating in the booster results in point deductions, and you have to gamble on a lottery. Is this designer really thinking clearly? Wow, 3% of the supply sounds like a lot, but it’s all locked and penalized. If I had known, I wouldn’t bother. This kind of incentive mechanism is really outrageous, like setting a trap for participants. If you don’t win the draw, you get all your points deducted? Why bother torturing us? Just say you don’t want participants; that would be better.
