Who makes Soleil sparkling water? It’s Albertsons Companies, the major U.S. food and drug retailer that continues to innovate its billion-dollar Signature family of brands. The company recently unveiled an exciting relaunch of Soleil sparkling water, transforming the beverage with striking summer packaging created by seven internationally acclaimed artists and introducing four fresh flavors that promise to energize the market.
Artistic Collaboration Brings Fresh Energy
The relaunch represents more than just a product refresh. Albertsons Companies partnered with a diverse collective of talented visual creators from around the world to redesign Soleil’s packaging. These artists—including Raul Urias from Mexico City, Nuria Boi from Edinburgh, Bárbara Malagol from London, Alejandro Parrilla from Madrid, Mel Cerri from São Paulo, Minji Moon from Seoul, and Calvin Sprague from Rotterdam—each brought their unique creative vision to the collection. Their work ranges from vibrant, nostalgic 90s-inspired illustrations to bold, colorful character designs and playful retro aesthetics.
New Flavors and Music Partnership
Beginning in May, consumers will discover four new flavor additions to the lineup: mango, raspberry lime, tangerine, and watermelon. To amplify the summer campaign, Albertsons Companies partnered with Spotify through the “Sip to the Beat” promotion. Customers purchasing Soleil can unlock access to three curated playlists: Amped Beats, Chill Vibes, and Good Times—seamlessly combining music enjoyment with beverage consumption.
Lisa Mirae, Senior Director of Brands and Marketing, emphasized the strategic importance: “The combination of entertaining playlists, imaginative designs, and flavorful options creates the perfect summer experience. Soleil delivers a crisp, refreshing taste and serves as a healthier alternative to traditional soda beverages.”

Since its 2016 launch, Soleil has demonstrated strong market growth, reflecting the broader consumer shift toward alternative beverages. The brand benefits from Albertsons Companies’ substantial retail infrastructure—2,277 stores operating across 34 states, with manufacturing facilities in California, Washington, and Colorado.
Who makes Soleil sparkling water maintains rigorous quality standards: the product contains carbonated water and natural flavors, with zero added sugars, sweeteners, artificial flavors, calories, or sodium. Beyond the four new flavors, the existing portfolio includes original, berry, lemon, lime, grapefruit, peach, blood orange, cucumber melon, black cherry, cranberry raspberry, strawberry, pineapple, and apple varieties. The lime, blood orange, and grapefruit options are also available with caffeine for consumers seeking additional boost.
